In December, we spent a weekend with youth at the Jodie Orphanage in Bali, Indonesia. We provided mentoring sessions and fun activities for youth. The orphanage was established by Alison Chester, who was inspired to help the most vulnerable children of Bali in the wake of the 2002 Kuta bombings. There are a bit less than 95 children at this orphanage. Their age ranges from 3 to 20. Basic medicines are a good thing to donate along with reading books tailored to the different ages. Visiting this orphanage and providing mentoring sessions to allow these kids to dream, was one of the highlights.
